Sean Patrick Murphy Has Been Named Product Manager Of Laboratory And R&D Furnaces For Centorr Vacuum Industries

Centorr Vacuum Industries is pleased to announce that it has named Sean P. Murphy to the position of Product Manager for Laboratory and R&D furnaces. Mr. Murphy will be responsible for over thirty (30) different vacuum furnace product lines used in laboratory settings for the metals, ceramics, and carbon/graphite/composites industries. His customer base will be the National Laboratories, Universities, and Industrial clients wanting smaller laboratory and R&D sized equipment worldwide.
Mr. Murphy is an active member of the American Ceramic Society, ASM Heat Treat Society, and the Society of Automotive Engineers. Sean was previously with Osram Sylania’s Exeter, NH location and was a Senior Manufacturing Manager responsible for micro-LED ceramic automotive products. Sean has experience with Hydrogen sintering, spark plasma sintering, annealing, and a variety of manufacturing operations. He has a Bachelors of Science in Materials Science from Alfred University and an MBA from Southern NH University.
