High Temperature Furnaces Convert Carbon-based Materials into Graphite

Request Quote

Graphitization furnaces support a variety of industrial and R&D laboratory uses

CVI's specialized industrial and lab graphitization furnaces are for high temperature treatment and graphitization treatment. These types of furnaces can convert carbon-based materials into graphite by heating them to extremely high temperatures, typically from 2300 (4172°F) up to 3,000°C (5432°F). These graphitization furnaces are used in the production of electrodes, nuclear reactor components, batteries, and various high-tech materials.

Available Graphitization Furnaces:

  1. Continuous Furnaces: These furnaces allow for the continuous processing of materials, making them suitable for large-scale industrial applications.
  2. Batch Furnaces: These are used for processing smaller quantities of material, where the material is placed in the furnace in batches.
  3. Laboratory Furnaces: Smaller-scale furnaces used for research and development purposes.

With over 80 years of combined vacuum furnace-building experience, we are uniquely suited to offer the perfect laboratory furnace equipment for your individual processes, unique lab vacuum furnace sizes, and control requirements.
